We are an established, hospitality-driven cocktail bar seeking an experienced, poised, and professional Full-Time Floor Manager / Service Manager to join our leadership team as we gear up for the fall. This is a full-time management position for someone who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in leading by example. You will work directly with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, maintain exceptional service standards, and help shape the continued growth of our beverage program and our team.
Your responsibilities:
Lead daily front-of-house operations and oversee all closing procedures
Partner with the General Manager to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
Lead, coach, and develop the front-of-house team through consistent training and mentorship
Recruit, interview, onboard, and retain exceptional staff
Hold team members accountable to high standards of professionalism, hospitality, and performance
Maintain exceptional guest experiences while effectively resolving service issues
Ensure compliance with New York City Health Department regulations, New York State liquor laws, and company policies
Support inventory management, beverage quality, and operational consistency
Assist in the continued development and execution of our cocktail and whiskey program
Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional workplace culture
What you bring:
Five or more years of progressive hospitality leadership experience
Management experience in an upscale cocktail bar, fine dining restaurant, or hospitality-driven venue
Previous experience as a lead bartender, captain, head server, beverage manager, assistant manager, or floor manager
Confident leading busy service while remaining calm, organized, and guest-focused
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational abilities and exceptional attention to detail
A positive, solutions-oriented management style
Thorough understanding of restaurant operations and front-of-house leadership
Working knowledge of New York City Health Department regulations and New York State liquor laws
Fluent English
Genuine passion for cocktails, whiskey, hospitality, and service excellence
