Merrion Square Pub is hiring a bartender for our Upper East Side bar. We're looking for someone who can handle a high-volume bar, make drinks consistently, and take care of guests at the bar and in the dining room.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare cocktails, pour beer and wine, and serve guests at the bar
- Take orders accurately and run tabs through the POS
- Keep the bar stocked, clean, and organized during and after service
- Check IDs and serve alcohol responsibly
- Handle cash and card payments accurately
- Help with opening and closing duties
Requirements:
- 2+ years of high-volume bartending experience
- Strong cocktail basics
- Must be 18 or older (New York State requirement to serve alcohol)
- Able to work nights and weekends
- Friendly, professional, and reliable under pressure
