Position Summary:
If you’re not comfortable correcting staff in real time and running a fast-paced bar floor, this role is not for you.
We are looking for a hands-on Bar Operations Supervisor to run daily bar execution at a high-volume rooftop venue.
This role is 100% floor-based. You will be responsible for supervising staff, coaching in real time, and maintaining high standards during service.
What You’ll Do:
Supervise bartenders and barback during live service
Coach and correct staff in real time
Maintain standards for speed, cleanliness, and organization, and presentation
Ensure bars are always stocked, clean, and properly set
Manage guest flow and bar lines to keep service moving fast
Conduct inventory twice per week
Run quick pre-shift huddles and assign positions
What We’re Looking For:
Strong experience in high-volume bar environments
Comfortable training new and existing staff
Hands-on leader who is on the floor every shift
Confident coaching and correcting staff directly
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Moves fast, takes control, and fixes issues immediately
Keeps teams focused, efficient, and accountable
What This Role Is NOT:
Not a desk job or office job
Not a creative/menu development role
Not a passive management position
Not a marketing role
Compensation:
$85 – $120,000 base
Performance-based bonus
