Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager with a background in Architecture or a related design discipline to support project planning, technical review, and daily execution. Working directly from our office, you will bridge the gap between design concepts, submittals, vendor coordination, and site implementation to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Review: Review architectural drawings, specifications, submittal packages, and shop drawings for technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance before site release.
Project Coordination: Track project schedules, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.
Vendor & Subcontractor Liaison: Coordinate with material suppliers, specialty contractors, and fabrication shops to ensure timely material deliveries and adherence to specs.
3D & CAD Support: Assist with reviewing or updating 3D architectural models, floor plans, and custom detail drawings as needed.
Documentation & Logs: Maintain centralized project files, meeting minutes, technical data sheets, and quality assurance logs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, architectural drafting, or general contracting.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar 3D modeling tools.
Knowledge of construction details, material submittals, and technical spec sheets.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office / Excel and project management tools.
Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills, clear written and verbal communication, and acute attention to technical details.
