Selling my 2007 MINI Cooper S, automatic, with a clean title. Engine was rebuilt approximately 10,000 miles ago.
The car is drivable and does start, but I want to be completely upfront about the current issues:
* Sometimes takes multiple attempts to start. Usually around 3 tries recently, although it has taken more attempts in the past.
* Shakes/shudders when accelerating, especially around 45 mph and going uphill.
* Can experience loss of power under acceleration.
* Has had multiple-cylinder misfire codes and mixture/fuel-air adjustment codes.
* Can shake/rough idle on startup.
* The car runs and drives, but I wouldn’t recommend driving it long-distance or on the highway until the issue is checked out.
I was told the current issue should not be a major repair, but I personally don’t have the time or patience to keep diagnosing it, so I’m looking to let it go at a good price to someone who knows MINIs or wants a project.
The engine rebuild was only about 10k miles ago, which is a big plus. Clean title and the car is currently running/driving.
Selling as-is. I’m being upfront about everything I’ve experienced so there are no surprises when you come check it out. You’re welcome to bring your own mechanic and inspect it.
Serious buyers only. No games — I just want to sell it at a fair price and move on.
