Tal’s Hummus is hiring a dependable, friendly Bartender / Server to join our team in New Orleans.
This is a hybrid front-of-house position for someone who is comfortable working behind the bar as well as serving tables. We are looking for a hospitality-minded person who enjoys a fast-paced restaurant environment, takes pride in great customer service, and can help wherever needed during a shift.
Responsibilities
Bartend during bar and dinner service, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks
Serve guests at tables with friendly, attentive service
Take orders accurately and process cash and credit-card payments
Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area
Help with opening, closing, side work, and restocking
Work closely with the kitchen, servers, and management
Follow food-safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service standards
Qualifications
Previous bartending and serving experience preferred
Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and liquor
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Able to stay calm and organized during busy shifts
Evening and weekend availability required
Louisiana alcohol-service experience is a plus
Competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus tips.
