For sale is a very rare and exceptionally clean 1981 Chrysler Imperial in excellent overall condition.
This vehicle has been garage kept for most of its life and was primarily driven by an older gentleman during warm summer months only. The car starts, idles, runs, and drives beautifully. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears without slipping, clunking, or hesitation.
The vehicle has been well maintained throughout ownership and spends most of its time stored indoors on a battery tender with yearly inspections kept up to date.
The interior is in outstanding condition with beautiful leather seating front and rear, showing no major rips, tears, or stains. The A/C, heat, digital dashboard, and interior controls are all functional. This Imperial represented Chrysler’s top luxury technology of the early 1980s and remains a true head-turner today.
Under the hood is a strong-running 318 V8 paired with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor setup.
The car has a clean title, no known accidents, and is being sold as-is. Exterior, interior, chrome, and trim present extremely well overall.
Unfortunately, the owner no longer has the time to properly enjoy the vehicle due to work obligations and would love to see it go to someone who will appreciate and preserve it.
UPDATE: The vehicle was recently started, moved and driven under its own power. Fresh photos have been added, and the car runs and drives amazing.
