We are seeking dependable and driven independent contractors to operate our 26ft box trucks equipped with air brakes.
This position requires flexibility and a willingness to be away from home for several days at a time. Pay is based on a percentage of each load. Previous driving experience is required, as training will be provided. Please note that prior to starting, you will need to pass a DOT medical screening to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Truck Operation: Safely operate a 26ft box truck with air brakes, ensuring that all routes are completed efficiently and within the scheduled timeframe.
- Delivery Execution: Transport goods and products to customers safely and professionally. Maintain high standards of care when handling goods to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading of goods using necessary equipment (dollies, pallet jacks, etc.), and ensure that all items are properly secured for transport.
