Smooth Logistics LLC is looking for a driver that will take on this position. Need to have experience at least a year. You will run into areas that are really tight to turn and get out. MUST have clean criminal record. Lowes will screen your back round and if after you start working and it comes back not clean you will be let go. This job is a Monday to Friday job. Very local and sometimes regional .. NOT too many miles. Truck is parked in the New Britain area but the store we load from is Derby, Milford, New Haven , and Cromwell. We pay a base pay for the day… if you do more then 8 stops .. $25 extra per stop AFTER the 8th stop .. this applies for the local run. The base pay depends on your experience. More as you work with us. You get paid as a contractor .. 1099 so no tax deduction. Must unload all pallets and bunks with Moffett and safely to the customer. Must communicate well with customer and good using your phone. Training for the Moffett will take less then a week if you don’t know how to. It’s a very simple machine. I’ll pay 50 a day for ride a long and train on Moffett. Must pass drug screening also. When not running this local run.. we do regional loads that pay 25% of gross pay of the load.
