These are battery operated, stabilized binoculars. There is a huge difference between these and a regular pair. These are in perfect working condition. The steady optics allow you to pick out minute details in whatever object you are looking at. They improve night vision observations a great deal as well. I used these on my boat and during my career as a private investigator. The protective case is a little bit sun faded from doing its job. I live off of 23 Mile Road, 3 Mi east of I-94.
