Depending on placement upon hire, some possible responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Machine Operator & Metal Fabrication:
Roll-Form, Shear, Level-Live, Brake, Slitter Machine Operators will be responsible to manufacture materials for metal roofing, walls, flashings, coils, and flat stock per order for our customers. All Machine Operators will:
Follow OSHA & company guidelines for safe operation
Follow company quality control guidelines with proper inspection to ensure tight industry specifications
Scan using bar code scanners to guarantee correct materials are allocated, depleted, and processed.
Package all materials per company guidelines to protect orders in transit.
Metal Fabrication: Knowledge of parts layout to mark up, cut, and fabricate small custom parts, small machine operations, hand tools, and measurements.
Cooperate with team to assist in areas of need
Qualifications:
1+ years' experience in manufacturing operations
Forklift experience
Must be able to work fast paced and under time constraints
Aptitude for metal manufacturing, unloading, and receiving a plus
Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
