I'm an established singer / songwriter who is seeking a drummer for session work. If you have the ability to record tracks at home, that would probably be best, at least for the time being.
As for the style of music I write, it's mostly a hybrid of several genres - rock, blues, gospel, pop, country, etc... I've been influenced by Buddy Holly, the British invasion, Motown, the Eagles, but also bands like Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, etc... I also draw from the singer / songwriter era – writers such as Paul Simon, Gordon Lightfoot, Lobo, Jim Croce, etc...
There are several talented musicians I've been working with over the years, but they are extremely busy and it's been difficult to make progress. I don't mind booking time at a studio to cut tracks, but schedules are tight and finding time when all the musicians are available on the same day has proven to be difficult.
Some of my favorite drummers include John Bonham, Ringo Starr, Simon Kirke (Free, Bad Company), Bev Bevan (ELO), Jerry Allison (Buddy Holly and the Crickets), etc...
