I ordered this bass from Modulus as I tired of the full carbon necks that didn't have great wood tone despite their nature to not shift in extreme temperatures. It has great depth, growl and the neck profile makes it easy to play.
This Genesis style neck fused both concepts and I rarely had to make any truss rod adjustments due to the carbon fiber "spine" which runs through the center of the neck.
There is gaff tape on the pickups as it was necessary to keep the strings from popping on the magnets as I played harder than I probably needed to.
***It will need a refret and the price reflects that so here's your chance to get a great bass that is a true workhorse and will serve you well.***
