We would love to hire an experienced locksmith, but are also very interested in hearing from skilled tradespeople with backgrounds such as:
Carpentry
Cabinetry
Woodworking
Door and hardware installation
Construction
Millwork
Mechanical or maintenance work
If you are mechanically inclined, comfortable working with your hands, and enjoy figuring out how things work, we can teach the right person the locksmith trade.
What We’re Looking For
The right candidate should:
Present themselves professionally
Communicate clearly and comfortably with customers
Be dependable and punctual
Have strong mechanical aptitude
Be comfortable using hand tools and power tools
Be able to accurately use a ruler, tape measure and basic measuring tools
Have good problem-solving skills
Be willing to learn and take direction
Work well independently and as part of a team
Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Be able to pass a criminal background check
Experienced locksmiths are strongly encouraged to apply.
However, if you have solid trade skills and the right attitude, do not let the lack of locksmith experience stop you from applying.
