Hiring General Laborers to assist with landfill operations at the Naples Sanitary Landfill. This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are ready to start immediately.
Job Duties
Pick up wind-blown litter throughout the landfill
Perform general cleaning around the facility
Lift and move materials as needed
Load and unload equipment and supplies
Assist with mowing, trimming, and other grounds maintenance
Support landfill staff with general labor tasks
Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions
Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred
No experience required (0–4 years accepted)
Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Must be reliable and able to lift up to 30 lbs throughout the workday
Spanish/English bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
Required PPE
Workers must wear:
✅ Steel-toe boots
✅ Hard hat
✅ Safety glasses
✅ Long pants (no shorts)
✅ High-visibility vest (provided if needed)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus, but not required.
