Free Pokémon Event for the Kids: Leveling Up Life Skills in Naples, Florida
Naples, get ready to catch 'em all! There is a wonderful movement happening in our local community that is turning a beloved pastime into a powerful tool for youth development. Led by event organizer MsGirt, a local Pokémon program is empowering children through strategy, fair play, and community sharing.
THIS IS A FREE EVENT EVERY SATURDAY & SUNDAY...
FREE CARDS - FREE PRIZES - FREE SNACKS!
Hosted weekly, this free Pokémon event for the kids offers a welcoming, inclusive space where children can dive into the exciting world of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). But this program is about much more than just winning matches. It is designed to teach critical thinking, foster lifelong friendships, and instill strong sportsmanship.
At the heart of the program is education. Children learn the ins and outs of strategic deck building, master battle mechanics, and discover the ethics of fair trading. Participants learn the true value of their collections while practicing integrity when swapping cards with peers. It proves that Pokémon is not just a game, but a fantastic way to build character and community.
Families can expect an action-packed agenda every week. Kids get to trade with fellow enthusiasts, learn how to battle with their newly found Pokémon, and—best of all—build a deck for free from donated stock that they get to keep!
How the Community Can Help: To keep this incredible program running, organizers rely on the generosity of the local community. Do you have old Pokémon cards gathering dust in a closet? Are you a collector who opens packs just for the chase cards and has no use for the bulk commons and uncommons?
Your extra cards can change a child's day! The program is currently accepting card donations to help build starter decks for newcomers, ensuring every child who walks through the door has the tools they need to play.
If you have cards to donate, you can drop them off directly at Twin Dragon Games. Just let the friendly team at the counter know your donation is for the "Pokémon Kids’ Events," and they will make sure it gets to the event organizer MsGirt. Alternatively, you can contact MsGirt directly to arrange a local pickup.
Join in on the fun, celebrate the spirit of the game, and help local kids grow into smart players and supportive community members.
