If you've been pricing out solid hardwood and choking on the cost, take a look at this before you commit. This is our Antique collection in Red Oak Natural, made right here in Murphy, NC, and priced at $1.39 a square foot with 1,720 square feet currently in stock.
This is an 5-ply cross grain engineered floor with a 3mm wear layer, which means you can sand and refinish it just like solid wood if it ever needs it down the road. Red Oak carries a Janka hardness rating of 1290, so it holds up well in normal residential traffic. The finish is UV cured aluminum oxide, which is the same abrasion resistant finish used across most premium prefinished floors, and it comes with a low gloss, wirebrushed surface texture that hides everyday wear better than a high gloss floor ever will.
At 3.25 inches wide and 1/2 inches thick, this is a true nail, staple, glue, or float installation, so it works whether you're going over plywood subfloor or a concrete slab. It is also rated for radiant heat, which knocks out a lot of engineered floors on the market but not this one.
Boxes cover 40 square feet each and ship on pallets of 1280 square feet, so whether you need a single room or you're flooring a whole house, we can get you the exact quantity without waste.
We are a flooring liquidator, not a middleman, so you are buying at liquidator pricing on a floor that would run considerably higher at a retail flooring store. Free samples are available before you buy, and we offer shipping quotes if you are outside the local pickup area.
