Skagit Architectural Millwork is looking for a reliable shop worker(s) to support our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who works hard, pays attention to detail, and wants to learn the trade. No prior woodshop experience is required—we’re willing to train the right person.
This role includes general shop work such as cleaning, assembly, operating machinery, forklift use, deliveries (must have a clean driving record), and finishing support. We run a fast-paced shop and need people who can keep up without sacrificing quality.
We are a second-generation family business that combines modern equipment with traditional craftsmanship, focused on producing high-quality work.
Basic Duties:
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
* Assist with assembly, material handling, and general shop tasks
* Finish booth support/Operation when needed
* Operate machinery and equipment (training provided)
* Load, unload, and move materials, including forklift use
* Make deliveries as needed (clean driving record required)
* Track labor through our online payroll system
* Follow all company and safety regulations, including PPE
* Submit inventory requests to maintain stock levels
* Complete assigned tasks on time and to quality standards
