Description:
The primary role of the Direct Support Professional (DSP) is to work alongside people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in order to help them achieve their personal outcomes. This includes working with them to develop daily living, professional, and informed decision-making skills while also supporting their health and safety. In our Without Walls program, DSPs work with a group of individuals to assist them in developing independence to navigate, socialize, and perform activities of daily living while in the community.
