• Location: Retail store in Morristown, NJ
• Schedule: Permanent, Full-time, Daytime Hours
• Equipment: Barudan 4-head and 1-head commercial embroidery machines
• Pay: Based on experience
• Start Date: Immediate hire needed to train alongside the current operator before her departure.
Key Responsibilities
• Operation: Run commercial embroidery equipment and set up production jobs.
• Preparation: Hoop garments (shirts, hats, jackets), load designs, and select threads, needles, and stabilizers.
• Maintenance: Monitor quality, troubleshoot thread breaks or tension issues, and perform basic machine upkeep like daily oiling.
• General Production: Fold, sort, box, and keep work area clean & organized.
Requirements & Ideal Skills
• Experience: Previous hands-on commercial embroidery experience (not entry-level). Barudan equipment.
• Work Ethic: Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently or help the wider team.
• Flexibility: Willingness to pitch in with general tasks in the pressing department.
• Additional: Willingness to work weekends or late hours during busy seasons.
• Software: Knowledge of Wilcom &/or Compucon TES embroidery programs is a bonus.
