Construction Superintendent-Residential (Wasatch Peaks-Utah)

Our company is looking for a residential superintendent that is knowledgeable, experienced, with excellent leadership skills. The role of Superintendent will be to lead a team through all phases of construction. We want a candidate who has extensive experience in new construction & remodels in high-end custom home building.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor & subcontractors for all phases of construction
• Facilitate the construction of project on-site from beginning to completion
• Communicates with the Project Management team in the coordination and responsibility of the total
construction effort in accordance with budget, quality, and schedule.
• Review and understand all project plans & specifications.
• Schedule all involved subcontractors for each phase of development and construction.
• Approves work being performed by subcontractors and handle any related issues.
• Maintains and promotes a safe work site by implementing safety requirements and good housekeeping regulations,
enforcing safe work habits, observing OSHA requirements.
• Monitors job site cleanliness and hold subcontractors responsible for daily clean-up.
• Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and other employees.
• Displays strong written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills.
• Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
• Prepares, schedules, and supervises the completion of a final punch list.
