The H912 is famously associated with Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, who purchased his own 1965 sunburst H912 from a pawnshop in Edgewater, Colorado, in 1989. He used it on Nirvana tracks like "Polly" and "Something in the Way" on Nevermind, as well as In Utero.
