2010 Subaru Forester XT 164k miles. Has hail damage and NEEDS THE HEAD GASKETS DONE, a new radiator and a new battery. Will start and drive for inspection with my jump box (5mins or so). Tires are at about 45% wear left and have been rotated regularly. Last rotation @ 155,726.
Second owner. I bought this from an auction with hail damage and have been driving it since it had 32,000 miles on it. It has lots of upgrades. Was prepairing the vehicle to handle a stage 2+. Upgraded turbo, fuel pump, injectors and high flow mufflers is about all it needs once the engine heads are done. The brake and suspension system were set up to my liking and ready to handle the increase in power and kept as a daily driver and good camping/snowboarding vehicle. Was going to go for arround 400hp. (There are Auto trans upgradeable options to better handle 400 hp for lead footers but trans has to be removed) Auto trans can’t handle more than 350-400hp.
Stage 2 performance tune by Cobb. Higher load rated coil springs in rear to limit sag with bike rack, etc. All maintenance recorded and performed. Due for timing belt job while heads are done. Larger tires fit to raise ground clearance 1”. Small receiver hitch installed. Roof racks. Wheels off of older STI and 1/4 “ spacers with extended wheel studs. STI Big Brembo brake kit on the front which was $2000. Braided stainless steel brake lines at our four wheels. OEM struts and shocks done @ 119,077 miles. Strut main bearings replaced same time. PVC hoses replaced @119,425. Cusco strut bar installedI. Perrin intake manifold 3” pipe and Grim Speed cold air intake installed. Rear 24mm Perrin anti-sway bar with links and poly bushings and front sway bar links with poly bushings installed. White line steering bushing kit and Perrin steering rack stabilizer insert installed. Grimspeed downpipe and shield installed. was setting it up for a bigger turbo and Performance mods. I’ll also be including I believe it’s the crossover pipe on the exhaust a performance upgrade. I did not get to install it yet. I also have the brake reservoir bracket kit for stiffing up the brake response that I also did not get to install yet. (Grimspeed I think) Wastgate vacuum solenoid replaced @127k. Replaced trans fluid @ 128k. Drain and fill 2x. Old Smelled normal (sweet). New EBC front brake slotted rotors and Yellow pads @ 129,500 done. Other regular maintenance things were done and are recorded on my notes.
I was gonna do all the work and make it into a project vehicle, but life changes require me to sell it.
Keep checking back as I will be lowering the price if it does not sell.
