A classic style of coffee table with a removable serving tray on top; rectangular tray top with four hinged, oval-shaped flaps that fold down at the sides and ends. When the flaps are up, it's a rectangular table. When they're down, the shape becomes a rounded oval. Each flap has a cut-out handle, so the tray can be carried like a serving tray. The wood is a dark reddish-brown mahogany with a mahogany-type stain. The top has a glossy finish. One hinge has lost its brass plating or finish. Minor scuffs and chips at the feet, and some wear on the edges.
