Beautiful American double-pedestal S-curve roll-top desk, believed to date from approximately 1895–1915. Constructed of richly grained oak with raised-panel sides, substantial pedestal bases and its original-style wooden drawer pulls.
The roll top opens to reveal an impressive fitted interior with numerous pigeonholes, document compartments and small drawers. The desk also includes multiple pedestal drawers, a brass lock plate and key.
This is a handsome, functional statement piece with the craftsmanship and character found in early American office furniture.
