Trade: Skilled help finishing a tiny home, in exchange for free/reduced rent on-site.
I own a 10-acre off-grid property with a small prefab tiny house near a stream that needs finish work — it's fully framed with a roof (walls and roof are done), but still needs insulation, drywall, and finishings to be livable. Section of the roof needs to be repaired after losing a battle with a tree.
Looking for: Someone with real experience construction/carpentry who wants a live-work arrangement — you help finish the space, and you get to stay on the property while the work is happening/after.
What I can offer:
A short paid trial period (a weekend) to make sure it's a good fit for both of us before anything longer-term
After the trial, a written scope of work with clear milestones (e.g., insulation complete by [date], drywall complete by [date])
Free rent on the property tied to hitting those milestones — this isn't an open-ended arrangement, it's project-based
A quiet, beautiful spot to camp/stay — right next to a stream, off-grid setting
