We are seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to maintain and add to a system used for the cataloging, organization, and modification of a large (6000+ pcs) collection of music, art, and historical and cultural memorabilia in preparation for online sale and related content creation.
Experience with the following frameworks and services is desired:
• Next.js (React & JS)
• Familiarity with Vercel or similar app hosting & deployment platforms, e.g. AWS
• Experience with Supabase/PostgreSQL
• Github
• Experience using RESTful APIs—Huge plus if you have experience with integrating third party platforms—e.g. an in-house database with Shopify.
If you’re comfortable jumping into an existing environment and have the capacity to learn and contribute to needed enhancements and modifications quickly, we want to hear from you.
A good understanding of UI will be needed, as end-users of the software include a variety of non-technical staff responsible for pricing and cataloging music, books, art, and the rest of the collection.
Ideal Candidate:
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to produce great documentation in-code, as well as external reference documentation for tech/non-tech personnel
• Comfortable communicating technical information and problems to non-technical personnel
• Previous start-up experience working with a very small team is highly desirable.
• Some experience with LiquidJS and CSS would be helpful going forward to assist with maintenance of a Shopify Store
• Interest in music, art, design, collectibles, and other cultural memorabilia

We are a small company with a large and unique collection of high-value
collectibles and rare items spanning music, art, fashion, books,
publishing, furniture, and more.
Currently, we’re in the process of capturing inventory of the
collection. Following inventory capture we’ll be focused on strategies for
distribution and sales including the creation of a compelling website
for launch in Q3 that will enable storytelling for the collection’s
artifacts and e-commerce capabilities.

Expected Schedule:
