I like to be honest unlike when it was sold to me. I’ll tell u all the problems I’m aware of and what my mechanic said. Don’t want to put more time n money into the vehicle
—Main issue is transmission slipping. Car starts and runs for short bit and at any time might not drive forward and slip gear. Getting it Towed is the best bet.
—Dash below steering wheel cables exposed due to removing remote start and trying to fix vehicle. Car was having trouble starting it w remote start n fob no longer has remote start.
—steering wheel column needs be replaced eventually. Could get a used one at à junk yard. Mechanic noticed it after removing remote start
—In order to start vehicle u have to start it w placing the key in ignition and flat head in actual starter which hangs from the side under steering wheel. No it’s not stolen I have the paperwork of the remote start removal. Mechanic didn’t put it back since not the steering column.
— fog light indicator stays on after removal of remote start and cables so it drains the battery after leaving it parked overnight. Might be able to remove the fuse idk. Once u jump it w a portable battery pack the engine turns right away. Mechanic said it’s a strong engine and they last till double the mileage on it but idk.
—Hood dented after popping open when I was driving into the city. Didn’t latch it properly when dealing with the remote start problem
Ànd it popped open on the highway.
—- EVAP code popped up so couldn’t pass NYs inspection
—Transmission codes that popped up were P0732/P0733 gear ratio incorrect
P0742torque converter circuit open
P0846 Transmission fluid sensor.
KBB fair price which requires mechanical
Repair is about $4,600 medium.
