This is a refurbished, authentic, full sized Railway Express Baggage Wagon.
The carriage is oak. The wheels are steel. This is a really nice piece. Buyer must pick up or arrange pick up - at buyer's expense. This is a very heavy wagon.
The bed of the wagon is 38" x 10'. The bed of the wagon is 36 -37" high. The stantions are roughly 33".
The wheels are steel and are 28" in dia. From the outside of a wheel to the outside of its opposite wheel, is 37"; the hubs are 2 -3". Therefore the wagon should fit through a 44" opening.
The draw bar is 43".
It is hard to find an old wagon as nice as this one.
This would make a great accent or display piece for a retail store. Or a wonderful Halloween or Christmas display piece.
Cash only. I WILL NOT SHIP.
