Marcgravia sp. Small Round is one of the smallest Marcgravia species. As the name implies, the immature leaves are extremely small and very round in appearance. The leaves can be compared to that of the size of Peperomia emarginella. In the photo you can see it in comparison to the size of a penny to see how small it really is. One of the great things about this species is even though it is extremely small, it branches very readily. Due to this characteristic, it can make a great effect on a background by quickly covering it. The coloration that the leaves exhibit also makes this an outstanding specimen.
