Gorgeous 12 year old Quarter Horse mare. Cow horse bloodlines but selling as grade. This mare has it all! Looks, body and brains! Flashy with chrome! Very well built, extremely sturdy with nice solid feet. She is sweet and gentle.
Claira was started when she was young and then turned out. She has been started again within the last year and is currently being ridden. She is being worked a few times a week. No spook, no buck, no rear. Claira goes wherever you point her! She’s being ridden in the rough country of Mitchell and she rocks it everytime! Up and down canyons, shale, ravines, ect checking fences. She is sure footed. No shoes needed. She still direct reins, stops, working on her backing up. She is very green in many aspects but is a trooper! She’s been around dogs, goats, other horses, dirt bikes, chickens. All aspects of the ranch! She does best on a loose tie but we are working on that. She’s good with her feet, stands to be saddled. She would be an easy one to finish your way as she is just an easy going gal under saddle. Point and shoot.
She is mildly marish. She does holler out when taken away from her herd but is not herd bound per se. She will lead when out riding in a group and go alone. Sound and up to date.
Serious inquiries only please. I have some short videos I can send as well.
