Need help getting through a tough math class—or want to actually understand what you're doing instead of just memorizing formulas?
I'm a local math tutor with a degree in mathematics and about 12 years of experience teaching in public and private schools, plus years of one-on-one tutoring experience. I've taught everything from middle school math through AP Calculus.
I wasn't always a "math person" myself, and that experience has shaped how I teach. My goal isn't just to help students get the right answer—it's to help them understand *why* the math works, build confidence, and become more independent problem-solvers.
**Your first one-hour tutoring session is just $25.**
Regular rate: $55/hour.
Virtual rate: $45/hour.
**One-on-one or small groups:** Studying with classmates? I'm happy to work with two or more students together. The hourly rate stays the same, so you can split the cost—you'll just be sharing my attention during the session.
