This pair of pre-drilled sturdy steel brackets when through bolted to your deck rim joists supports a bench seat made of 2"x 6" lumber for the seat and 2"x 4" lumber for the backrest with a pair of 2"x 4" vertical uprights to attach and support the horizontal backrest. Brackets are made of rigid ⅛” thick steel strapping that is 1⅝” wide and is coated with rust resistant paint. The upright legs of both brackets are curved stamped steel for exceptional rigidity. Each bracket is pre-drilled with eleven 5/16” diameter holes. Four holes to accept bolts for mounting the brackets to the deck rim joists and four holes to attach two 2”x 6” planks for the seat and three holes to attach 2”x 4” uprights for the seat backs. Two 2”x 6” planks or three 2"x 4" are then bolted to the two 2”x 4” uprights to form the seat back rest.
