This is in great pre-owned condition and is ready to be hung on your wall.
It was hard to get a great photo due to the glare of the glass at any time of day.
Daly's signature style blends the disciplined, fluid calligraphic strokes of Chinese brushwork with bold, vibrant American expressionism. The prominent trees and textured marsh lines are rendered with deft, quick brush gestures that echo Chinese characters. His work stands out for its high-contrast color choices, juxtaposing saturated blues and earthy ochres with stark white spaces where the pigment bleeds naturally across the paper.
Raised in Duluth, Minnesota, Daly studied under renowned watercolorist Cheng-Khee Chee at the University of Minnesota Duluth, followed by training at the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in Hangzhou, China.
