Tom Pieper and I are looking for another acoustic partner for our thing - The Flying T. We are a mostly-originals combo with standup bass and guitar. We also cover punk and new wave in an acoustic style and love to play old obscure bluegrass/folk tunes. We connect with every audience we play for. We play the 331 Club, The Whole Squirrel, The Dubliner, and Midway Saloon. The Trailhead at Wirth Park, Utepils Brewery, and more. Also VA homes a few times a year and the odd backyard concert/house party.
2027 is going to be a much more ambitious year for us and we are just finding our stride.
Our mandolin partner (Comandolin on YouTube) is going to be largely unavailable as he just got the the nightly news director position and KARE 11. We are looking for a durable/available/enthusisatic/energetic partner to join us. Someone who can solo on both fiddle and mandolin would be ideal. A female is double points. Can sing harmonies is triple points. A liberal attitude and a desire to please folks would seal the deal.
