Experienced singer/acoustic guitarist looking for singer with power, range, and harmony ability who can also play lower volume acoustic percussion with varied percussion instruments. I'd like for both of us to share lead vocal duties, while also creating arrangements with lots of vocal harmony.
I'm interested in many styles - pop, rock, folk, jazz, etc. In addition to creating interesting arrangments of covers I also might want to explore making originals if that's a mutual interest.
Before responding to this ad, check out some of my singing and playing on two live, rough vocal/guitar tracks of cover songs, where I’m essentially performing a duet with myself: https://www.smule.com/playlist/539420114_1246697. These are rough cuts but they should give you a decent idea of my musical interests and general approach.
I can rehearse/perform weeknights and most weekends. We can rehearse at my place in New Brighton or, if you're within 30 minutes or so, we could rehearse at your place.
If you're interested, send along a recording of your singing and playing. I won't be responding without a good idea of what you sound like. Let's try it out, have some fun, and make some good music!
