We are seeking a friendly, dependable, experienced Wine Bar Server / Bartender to welcome guests, guide them through our wine and small-plates menu, prepare beverages, and keep service running smoothly. The ideal candidate enjoys hospitality, communicates clearly, works well under pressure, and brings curiosity about wine and food pairings.
Responsibilities
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, knowledgeable service.
• Recommend wines, flights, beer, non-alcoholic options, and food pairings.
• Take and enter orders accurately, serve food and beverages, and process payments.
• Prepare and pour beverages according to house standards and responsible service guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and service area.
• Check identification and follow all alcohol service, safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Support teammates during busy shifts, private events, opening duties, and closing duties.
Qualifications
• Previous restaurant, bar, tasting room, or hospitality experience required.
• Interest in wine, food, and hospitality; wine knowledge is necessary.
• Strong guest-service, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must meet all legal requirements for alcohol service in this location.
