Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Food & Beverage Attendant to oversee both our morning breakfast service and evening reception in the hotel lounge area. This dual-role position is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and servicing complimentary food and beverage offerings while creating a welcoming and enjoyable guest experience. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and committed to providing outstanding hospitality throughout both breakfast and evening reception service periods.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, maintain, and break down breakfast buffet and evening reception service areas
Prepare and present food, snacks, beverages, and service stations according to hotel standards
Serve complimentary cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages during evening reception hours in accordance with responsible alcohol service guidelines
Monitor food and beverage levels and replenish items promptly throughout service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining, lounge, kitchen, and bar areas
Clear tables, remove used dishes and glassware, and sanitize surfaces regularly
Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout each shift
Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns professionally and promptly
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and liquor service regulations
Restock supplies including utensils, condiments, napkins, and beverage inventory
Operate kitchen and beverage equipment safely and properly
Perform opening and closing duties including cleaning, organizing, and securing service areas
Communicate maintenance concerns, inventory shortages, or guest issues to management
Collaborate with front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences
Qualifications:
Previous hospitality, food service, bartending, or customer service experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both early morning and evening shifts as scheduled
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices preferred
Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance with a positive and outgoing attitude
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred Skills:
Experience with buffet, breakfast, lounge, or bar service
Bartending or beverage service experience
Knowledge of hotel guest service standards
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
