I’m an avid private collector specializing in authentic skateboards from the early 1980s, specifically those originally purchased between 1980 and 1987. I’m actively looking to purchase well-preserved examples especially those that may have been stored away in garages, attics, or closets after the kids outgrew them.
If you have any decks from that period (or complete setups), I’d be very interested in buying them and can offer fair cash on the spot. I value these pieces for their history and cultural significance, and I always treat every board with care.
To help me evaluate them properly, could you please reply with the following?
1. Clear photos of the skateboard from both the top (deck graphic) and bottom (including trucks and wheels if it’s a complete setup).
2. Any noticeable wear, imperfections, or damage you’re aware of.
3. The price you’re hoping to receive for it.
I’m also happy to purchase multiple boards if you have several available from that era.
Thank you in advance for your time
I truly appreciate it. Feel free to reply with any questions, and I look forward to seeing what you might have.
