I also started young.
And I’ll be the first person to tell you:
I don’t know everything.
There are landscapers who have been doing this longer than I’ve been alive.
I don’t have 20 or 30 years of experience.
But what I may lack in years, I try to make up for with hard work, listening, communication, and a willingness to learn.
If a homeowner points something out, I listen.
If someone more experienced knows a better way to do something, I want to hear it.
If we make a mistake, I’d rather figure out how to make it right than waste time making excuses.
And if I don’t know something, I’m not afraid to say that and go find the answer.
Running Elevate Lawns has taught me that you don’t need to have everything figured out before you start.
You need to work hard, stay humble, surround yourself with good people, listen to your clients, and try to get a little better every single day.
That mindset has taken us from knocking on doors and asking homeowners to give a young guy a chance to now having 103 five-star Google reviews and 30 real client testimonial videos.
And we’re still learning.
Still improving.
Still making mistakes.
Still getting better.
And still trying to earn every homeowner’s trust one project at a time.
