This was my girlfriend's first mountain bike the last couple seasons. We realized she needed a larger frame so we found her a new bike over the winter. I'm a bike shop nerd so I have made some upgrades:
Fork was replaced with a new Rockshox Revelation, which lightened up the front end quite a bit!
Brand new wheels off her new bike, a Giant Trance 29.
New tires, handlebar and stem off a Specialized Chisel.
It's in all tuned up and in great shape! She is a timid rider and it probably has less than 20 rides on it. I tried to get pictures of all any scrapes or chips it has, mostly from the car rack and some chain slap. I've taken it out a couple times and I think it's pretty perfect for our local trails.
