Needs restoration I used it to heat garage during vintage car restoration
I used kerosene but other fuels could be used
Fan motor runs in vent mode,sounds good Dont have fuel to test Heat mode ,
Took electric box cover off, contacts and connection look good ,
parts still available on line site probably from 60's Major parts are from companies like Bendix, GE, Baso, etc
Very well built, straightforward design like features on fuel lines , Can be loosened with wrench or pliers.
Has old Mercury, thermostat fuel line and return I just siphoned out 5 gallon jug' Has 2 inch piped exhaust,
heated up 12 x 20 ft garage well enough to work comfortable thru winter .and do body work
