1776‑1976 FIRST DAY ISSUE $2 BILLS – VALLEY FORGE POSTMARK – SEQUENTIAL SET OF 10
Price: $1,000 (firm)
Location: Millsboro, DE
Will NOT break up the set – selling all 10 together only.
For sale is a complete group of ten (10) Bicentennial 1776‑1976 $2 Federal Reserve Notes, each postmarked April 13, 1976 at Valley Forge, PA — the official First Day of Issue for the re‑release of the $2 bill.
All 10 bills are crisp, uncirculated, post mark crisp.
Original Valley Forge postal cancellation on the right edge of each note.
Sequential serial numbers — last three digits run 165 through 175 (10 consecutive notes).
These were pulled from a fresh strap and postmarked together on release day.
Extremely hard to find as a complete consecutive run, especially from Valley Forge.
Why This Set Is Special
Most First‑Day postmarked $2 bills were done individually.
Finding ten consecutive serial numbers with matching Valley Forge cancels is rare and highly desirable for collectors.
Sets like this are almost never broken up — and I won’t break this one up either.
Price
$1,200 for the full set of 10......or best offer
Firm price due to condition, location, and the consecutive serial run.
