- Mechanical experience with trucks, trailers, compactors, and balers
- Proficient in hydraulic system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Perform equipment fabrication, repairs and maintenance, both in house and onsite.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance of equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems, making necessary repairs or adjustments
- Welding experience - Install, repair, and maintain systems as needed
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment required for the job
- Drive a company van to various work sites
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and skills
- Experience with equipment repair and fabrication
- Valid driver's license
- DOT Medical card
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments
- Able to operate small equipment
