Looking for someone reliable on Oahu to handle ladder assist jobs for insurance roof inspections. This is subcontract work through my company, Oahu Roof Support LLC, based on Oahu.
What the job is:
An insurance adjuster needs someone on-site to set up a ladder so they can get on the roof for their inspection. You show up on time, set the ladder, take photos, and pack up when they're done. Most jobs take 15-30 minutes.
What you need:
- Your own ladder setup that can reach a 2-story roof - whether that's a 28 ft extension ladder, a Little Giant that extends, or multiple Little Giant ladders for double pulls
- A truck or vehicle that can transport your ladder(s)
- Comfortable being on roofs and working at height
- Reliable phone with good service (you'll get scheduling texts/calls and need to be responsive)
- Professional appearance (clean, presentable - you're showing up to someone's home alongside an insurance adjuster)
- Flexible schedule (jobs come in on short notice and windows are usually a few hours)
- Dependable and punctual - if you say you'll be there, be there
What makes this a good fit:
This is perfect for someone with a flexible schedule who wants to pick up easy money on the side. You don't need to be a roofer, but you do need to be comfortable with ladders and getting on a roof. Just show up on time, look professional, and be reliable. Jobs are assigned as they come in, so the more available you are, the more work you'll get.
