Lane’s End is seeking an experienced Night Watch employee to join our team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Checking stalls, fields, and paddocks throughout the night.
* Ensuring horses have adequate hay and water.
* Monitoring all horses for potential health concerns.
* Notifying the on-call person immediately if any issues arise.
* Closely monitoring mares during foaling season and immediately notifying the on-call person when a mare appears to be in labor.
Schedule:
This position will work three and a half nights per week, for a total of 49 hours per week.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds.
