WHIMSY! is an original family musical that whisks you into an enchanted mountain forest where a lost child is raised by the magical Raspberry Fairies. A deep yearning stirs within her to discover who she truly is and share her performing gifts. She answers the call and steps into the unknown where there are mysteries to unravel and epiphanies to be made in the vibrant world of Whimsy!

Monologue for Narrator: Welcome, friends, to Whimsy—a place where paintings whisper, flowers have opinions, and an ordinary hallway may lead somewhere extraordinary. I’ll be your guide, your mayor, your ringmaster, and, when necessary, the fellow who keeps everyone from wandering into the wrong story. So open your eyes, awaken your imagination, and hold tightly to your sense of wonder. Our tale is about to begin—and I assure you, it will not proceed quietly!
Role Title: Barnaby Brumble

Monologue for Barnaby Brumble: A garden cannot be hurried, and neither can a heart. Plant a seed today, and shouting at the soil tomorrow will not make it bloom. Hattie knows that, although patience has never been her favorite tool. She rushes like a spring wind, scattering color wherever she goes. Me? I prefer roots, steady hands, and a good fiddle tune. Still, every garden needs both sunshine and rain—and perhaps every Barnaby needs a Hattie.
Role Title: Judge (“Judgee”) Grumbler

Description: father Grumbler, from the Great Glomet, wants to be a coach
Monologue for Judgee: I have examined the situation, reviewed the evidence, and reached a completely reasonable conclusion: everyone is doing it wrong. Their posture is wrong, their timing is wrong, and their enthusiasm is highly suspicious. What they need is discipline, direction, and an excellent coach—namely, me. Once I take charge, there will be rules, drills, and measurable improvement. Fun? We can schedule fun after everyone learns to follow instructions.
For the right actor, they may be open to doing aging makeup to fit the character age.
