Broadway Chicken is looking for dependable, hardworking Kitchen Line Cooks & Prep Team Members to join our team!
We are a fast-paced, fast-casual restaurant known for serving fresh, high-quality food in a fun and energetic environment. We’re looking for team members who take pride in their work, move with a sense of urgency, and understand that consistency and teamwork are key to a great restaurant.
What You'll Be Doing
Preparing and cooking menu items according to Broadway Chicken recipes and standards
Working the kitchen line efficiently during busy lunch and dinner rushes
Performing daily food prep, including portioning, cutting, breading, sauces, and other prep work
Maintaining proper food quality, portion sizes, and presentation
Keeping your workstation clean, stocked, and organized
Following all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures
Restocking and preparing the kitchen for upcoming shifts
Assisting with opening and closing kitchen responsibilities
Communicating and working together with the entire restaurant team
Helping maintain a clean kitchen, including equipment, floors, prep areas, and storage areas
What We're Looking For
Reliable and punctual
Hardworking with a positive attitude
Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Able to stay organized and focused during busy periods
Strong attention to cleanliness and food quality
Willing to learn and follow established recipes and procedures
Able to work well as part of a team
Available for a combination of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
Physical Requirements
This position requires standing for extended periods of time, working around hot kitchen equipment, lifting and carrying supplies, and regularly lifting up to approximately 40–50 lbs.
