Description
This is for LIONEL 145 (6-2145) ILLUMINATED OPERATING AUTOMATIC GATEMAN, TESTED & WORKS. This item still works and even the light lights-up. It operates such that when the train passes by, the gateman rushes from the lighted shed as the train approaches. He then flags the train with his waving arm and the attached lantern (illuminated from the light in the shanty); and when the train passes he goes back into his house. Very nice animated Train Accessory Piece. It is in GREAT condition for its old age, but not perfect as it does show some very minor signs of prior loving use. Comes with a Lionel track activating piece, & connecting wires.
This is in the famous O / O-27 gauge series of trains and will work with all compatible trains made by MTH, Marx, Williams, American Flyer, Weaver, K-line, Atlas and similar size and scale trains and of course S scale trains and G Gauge LGB Garden Railway and Standard Gauge Trains.
This is a Great accessory to put on your layout; Remember that varied scenes generate interest and excitement in your hobby, so get all the different ones you can!
