Our professional security guard company is seeking experienced, professional Security Officers for luxury residential communities and gated neighborhoods in North Miami/Aventura area.
We are especially interested in candidates with prior experience working armed security assignments, high-end residential communities, gated communities, executive protection, or other security positions requiring a high level of professionalism and sound judgment who understand that protecting an upscale residential community requires more than simply monitoring a gate. Officers must be observant, confident, professional, and capable of handling security concerns while providing excellent service to residents and their guests.
Position Responsibilities
Officers may be assigned to gatehouse/access control, vehicle patrol, foot patrol, or a combination of duties.
Gatehouse & Access Control
* Verify residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and other visitors before allowing access
* Enforce community access-control procedures consistently and professionally
* Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points
* Recognize and respond appropriately to suspicious or unusual activity
* Maintain accurate visitor, activity, and incident logs
* Communicate professionally with residents, guests, property management, and fellow officers
Rover & Patrol
* Conduct regular vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout the community
* Maintain a strong and visible security presence
* Identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, property concerns, and violations
* Respond promptly to calls for assistance and security incidents
* Support gatehouse personnel and coordinate with supervisors when necessary
* Follow established procedures for emergencies and law-enforcement response
Preferred Experience
Candidates with the following backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply:
* Armed security experience
* Luxury residential or gated-community security
* High-rise condominium or HOA security
* Executive protection or VIP security
* Residential patrol and access control
* Military or law-enforcement experience
* Security positions involving significant resident/client interaction
Qualifications
* Valid Florida Class D Security License required
* Florida Class G License and prior armed-security experience strongly preferred
* Previous professional security experience strongly preferred
* Excellent communication skills
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Strong situational awareness and attention to detail
* Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during security incidents
* Ability to communicate confidently and respectfully with residents and guests
* Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
* Ability to work independently while following established post orders
* English/Spanish bilingual preferred
* Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the assignment
